Once
you have the seams looking just right you are now ready to
affix the seam(s). The material of choice is a "tar paper"
and it is something that you can find at your local roofing
or home supply store. Having already double checked your seam
to make sure it is just right
Roll back the seam edges
to expose the needed area and unroll the tar material. Center
it the length of the seam. Tear back the sticky-back and lay
that turf down on the exposed material. Once you have gone
the length of your seam, we recommend running a seam roller
along it and pull up fibers that get matted down into the
seam. Eventually you will want to walk over the seams several
times to ensure the seams are set. (TIP: It is a good
idea to lay something heavy on the seam, i.e. bagged sand,
to "set" the seam into place. An hour or two should
suffice in hot weather.)
